My love list

I came across a site – and idea – yesterday that I wanted to share.  You can find the details here, but the site is called Halfway to Normal.  It’s a online home to Kristin Tennant.  I’ve only read a few of her posts so far, but what I’ve read is great.

The idea of hers I really like is The Love List.  It sounds simple but very effective.  You make a list of what you love (with a brief reason why you do if you want to go deeper) and go from there.  My personal mission is to put some “smaller” things on there, like “Taking a bubble bath” or “Listen to good music for 20 uninterrupted minutes”and try to do one thing a week.  You can also post parts of you list or your progress on Twitter using the hashtag #thelovelist, or go to the site and post there.  I’ll post some updates here, there, and on Twitter as well.

Kristin ends one of her Love List posts with the question “Most importantly, do you think making a love list will help you take back your life?”  That’s a great one to think about.  What about you – what would be on your Love List?  Post some comments here or use #thelovelist on Twitter, and I’ll see you around!

(Confession time: Every time I type “love list,” I automatically type “lost list!”  Lost fans will see the connection.  It’s number 3 on my list too, but I guess it should be number 4, right?)

Put these on your list to check out:
